Learn moreWhy we're here
Maili Sita means “six miles”: the distance between this junction and the big hospitals in Nakuru town. In daylight that's a matatu ride. At 2 a.m., with a feverish child or a mother in early labour, it can feel like the other side of the world.
Primegala opened its doors here on 1 March 2022 so that families from Kabatini to Kiamaina, and Bahati to Lanet, have somewhere close to turn, at any hour.
Read our story“The gate opens and a father carries in his daughter, burning with fever. Within minutes a nurse has checked her temperature, the lab has run a malaria test, and a clinician is explaining the plan in Kiswahili. By sunrise she is resting, and her father knows what happens next.”
Your visit
No guesswork. Here's what happens from the gate to going home.
Book online or simply come in. Walk-ins are welcome at any hour, day or night.
A nurse checks your vital signs. Bring your national ID so we can confirm your SHA status.
We listen, examine and explain what's going on in plain English or Kiswahili.
The laboratory and pharmacy are a few steps away, so there's no running around town.
You leave with a clear treatment plan. If you need follow-up, admission or a referral, we arrange it with you.

Most everyday visits at Level 3 facilities like ours are funded through SHA's Primary Healthcare Fund. Bring your national ID and our front desk confirms what's covered before treatment.

Maternity & antenatal care
A calm birth starts months before labour. At every antenatal visit we plan it with you: where you'll deliver, how you'll get here at night, who will be with you, and how SHA applies.
